I help organisations grow. Throughout my career, I have built brands, transformed businesses, led high-performing teams and delivered commercial results across professional services, education, technology, telecommunications and financial services. I am at my best when solving complex problems, shaping strategy, inspiring people and creating clarity in times of change. Known for my energy, communication style and commercial mindset, I enjoy bringing together smart people, bold ideas and practical execution to drive growth, improve performance and create lasting impact.
A few things I believe.
Clarity
Clarity is a competitive advantage. The leaders and organisations who communicate well don't just look more professional; they make better decisions, build stronger relationships, and move faster.
Experience
Experience is only useful if you can transfer it. I've been lucky to work across industries, geographies, and business stages. The value of that isn't the stories; it's the patterns I can help others see.
Commercials
Commercial outcomes are the point. In business, things you do should change behaviour and produce results. Not just fill a day. And numbers never lie.
Negotiations
Good negotiation isn't manipulation. It's knowing what you want, understanding what the other side needs, and finding an outcome that’s a win-win for both sides.

Why work with me?
I am a growth and transformation leader with more than 25 years of experience helping organisations unlock performance, navigate change and accelerate growth. Born in Pakistan, educated in the United States and having built my career across the Middle East and Australia, I bring a genuinely global perspective shaped by working across different cultures, markets and business environments.
Throughout my career, I have led businesses and commercial functions in industries as diverse as professional services, education, telecommunications, technology, financial services and advertising. This breadth of experience has given me a unique ability to quickly understand complex businesses, identify growth opportunities and build practical strategies that deliver results.
I am particularly energised by situations where organisations need fresh thinking, stronger commercial discipline or a clear path forward. Whether leading a turnaround, driving transformation, building new revenue streams, improving performance or developing leadership capability, my focus is always the same: creating momentum, aligning people behind a common vision and delivering measurable outcomes.
What differentiates me is not expertise in a single industry. It is the ability to see patterns across industries, challenge conventional thinking and bring proven ideas from one sector into another. Combined with strong communication skills, commercial acumen and a collaborative leadership style, I help organisations move faster, think bigger and perform better.
Eight things that have never
steered me wrong.
These aren't values plucked from a workshop. They're the things I've come back to again and again; as a leader, a manager, and someone who's navigated a lot of different organisations, markets, and moments.
01
Aim higher than feels comfortable.
Ambition isn't arrogance. It's the decision to take your potential seriously. The organisations I've seen stagnate weren't short on talent, they were short on appetite.
02
Trust is the most efficient management tool ever invented.
When people know you mean what you say and say what you mean, you spend less time managing and more time leading. Build it early. Guard it carefully. It compounds.
03
Judge outputs, not inputs.
How someone gets the work done is rarely my business. What they produce, and whether it moves the business forward, is my business. Managing by results respects people's intelligence and time.
04
Say the thing you're tempted not to say.
Transparency isn't just a cultural value, it's a practical one. Teams that know the real picture make better decisions. The ones kept in the dark make expensive ones.
05
Clarity is an act of respect.
When you communicate in plain, direct language you're telling the other person their time matters. Vague language doesn't protect you, it just makes everyone work harder to figure out what you meant.
06
Share the upside. Every time.
People who feel the rewards of their work don't need to be motivated, they already are. The best teams I built were ones where winning felt collective.
07
Act like it's yours.
Not because it is, but because that mindset changes everything. How you spend, how you decide, how you show up. Ownership thinking is a habit, and it's contagious in the best possible way.
08
People are almost always more capable than you think.
Underestimating people is one of the most common and most costly mistakes leaders make. Give someone real responsibility, real trust, and real room to move; then watch what happens.
Outside Work
I live on the northern beaches in Sydney with my wife and two sons. I play tennis when I can, spend as much time at the beach as possible, and have strong opinions about architecture, design, and fashion; which mostly my family finds exhausting.
